Working weekend to work on Littledale before the 100 years camp.
There were people from a variety of walks of life (including some explorers / explorer leaders) turned up to help get the site ready for the 100 years camp, some from scouting, some friends of those in scouting, and some long-suffering wives of those in scouting.
We had concrete donated via Dave Squirrell through someone he knew to concrete in the posts for the obstacle course, telegraph poles were donated for the course, through Stuart (13th L/C ASL) someone he works with donated his time and the use of his digger to move the mounds and mounds of earth, paint was donated for the site and was used to re-paint both of the toilet blocks, Janet Sargent and Tracye Greene did all the catering for the weekend, etc etc. A fantastic time was had by all (including some Explorers from Castleton and Scouts from 13th who also helped with clearing of a lot of rubbish from around the site) and an amazing amount of work was done all around the site.
